Hey we just got some new microphones in the studio! we should start tomorrow a few tests and prepare the future recordings. D112 for the kick, some Seinheisers 604 for the toms, classic C1000 for overheads, a Rode NT5 for hihat and of course SM57 for the snare.
We also got the Rode K2 mic, a very nice valve microphone for the vocals that suits the vocal booth we just built !!
Anyway, the plan is to record 6 songs in the next 4 weeks. Dont know how long is gonna take to be honest, but we wont be happy until they sound perfect!
For those of you who heard some of these songs in jams/rehearsals, we will probably start with "Blood on Blood", a 10min long song including some Oud/Guitar battle in the solos. Then maybe "Out Of Tears", "Tskarfess & Sacrifice", "Souk Asylum", "Revolution" and "Cold Like A Bitch".
And if the last song is ready, maybe we'll give it a shot as well.

Today, we put down all the guide guitars for all the songs, also worked on different tempos that work fine. I'll start trying some drums takes tomorrow morning.
